The Fender Custom Shop ’62 Jazz Bass Relic combines vintage tone, meticulously chosen appointments and hand-wound pickups for a top-of-the-line playing experience. It features a 2-piece alder body with a lacquer finish and a quartersawn maple neck. The flat-lam rosewood fingerboard is topped with 20 medium jumbo frets and clay dot inlays. Its sound is driven by dual Custom Shop hand-wound Jazz Bass single-coil pickups, two volume controls and two tone controls. Additional appointments to the ’62 Jazz Bass Relic include a 4-saddle vintage-style bridge and nickel/chrome hardware. A deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity are also included.
