Description

Evidence Audio ranks the Lyric HG Instrument Cable among their best. The combination of high-grade IGN copper conductors, solid core primary conductors means the Lyric HG offers up smooth midrange and highs with clarity and focus that reveal the harmonic detail and articulation. the cable's 20 AWG conductor size is large enough to communicate punch and authority, yet small enough to preserve a sense of air and delicacy. The symmetrical design of the Lyric HG cable allows dynamics to scream from the quietest of backgrounds without using the shield to carry your signal. Other design benefits include conductive skins applied to the positive and negative runs for reduced microphonics with high gain amps, high-density copper braid shield to ensure a clean signal to your amp, and woven nylon jacket for increased flexibility and protection during stage use.

Buy this cable today. If you don't think it's the best you ever had you can return it. The Lyric is the best cable I ever owned and I have been playing for over 40 years. Best possible sound!

  • Now this is a "TONE" of difference.

I have been using Monster cables(the most expensive ones) for years until I tried the Lyric HG. Amazing difference in tone. I hooked up to my engl powerball v2 and recto cab. Your mids will shine through more with abundant clarity, increased articulate bass, and crispier overall attack. Your guitars wood and pickups will shine like superstars through this cable. There really is a difference. I never in my life would spend over a hundred dollars on a cable but this is the exception. If you play through expensive gear and you care about tone, get these cables. Pricey but worth it. Don't hook up your expensive gear with $10 or $15 cables. These cables just sound "magical."

  • Great cables!

I was skeptical, but there was a return policy, so I tried them. I am a working musician, play a PRS Hollowbody thru a Bogner Shiva. The Lyric HG cables were noticeable immediately. My guitar sounded like there were more frequencies. My Bass player noticed it, so we tried it on his Bass, and the bottom end was fuller sounding. I've tried them with my other guitars and amps, and every situation, the tone is better. They are worth the money. I also emailed a question to evidence audio, and they answered my question right away. Ii completely recommend these cables.

Saturday, May 29th '01 Gibson Custom ES446S output to Evidence Audio LYRIC HG 10 ft to Fender Custom Shop Amp. Played "At Last" (Etta James) with neck tone pot set close to ZERO (OEM electronics). Most players change the electronics in order to get the CLARITY afforded by using the LYRIC HG. Opened the tone pots towards "10" & played "Clean Up Woman" (Betty Wright) with "studio quality" sound....! Saturday June 5th '95 LesPaul Studio (non-chambered)HG LYRIC 10ft cable into Fender Custom Shop combo. Played, "Simple Man" and "Sweet Home Alabama" (Lynard Skynard). Open strings "chimed" and distortion "roared." This is what Antiquity p/u's, Old Stock "Bumble Bee's," and CTS pots SHOULD sound like...!Sunday, May 30th & Sunday June 6th. Church band "recognizes" the open/airy T-O-N-E..! Buy/try this cable b/4 spending $$$'s on pickups, capacitors and potentiometers. The difference is STARTLING..!

I've been playing for over 20 years and this is the best cable I have ever used. I could not believe what a difference this thing made. It was as if the someone took my tone out of a box and completely opened it up. Clean, clear and articulate tones. Very pricey but the tone is unbelievable. Cable is a little stiff but will work itself out over time. I have the HG's running from my guitar to my pedal board to my Fender. I'm also running the EA Melody in my loop. Nice and warm. Very open sound and tremendous attack.

How does the Evidence Lyric cable work for a 5 string bass? I have a 5-string MTD bass. And I've been using the $100 Monster Cable pro for years.

The Evidence Audio Lyric HG would be fine. The instrument and price have nothing to do with it. The quality of copper and gauge is all that matters. The Lyric and Monster are 20 gauge wire. This is 18 gauge --------------- Livewire Elite Instrument Cable 20 ft. This is better.
