I used these heads on my LP Matador Bongos. They look nice and sound nice! They've got a good ring to them and they're easy to tune. You can really crank the smaller head and it cuts through loud sound easily! They are very durable and last a long time if well maintained.

  • It is a good quality product.

I have always preferred Evans bongo heads over LP ...why? the sound!!! My small bongo is tuned to a high pitch snap and my large bongo is tuned to be more full-open and deep..I cannot create the later with LP. I haven't tried the Remo series yet but why mess with perfection. The evans Tri-Center have always been there for me..the sound is just what I seek ..Full deep high snappy its all there however I tune them. let the bongo beating begin!!!

  • !!!! Very good sound !!!!

The Evans tri center bongo head is a very good head for any kind of bongo. I own this product I have them in a LP ASPIRE Bongos and OH men they get to job done. The best thing about this is that in bad whether you don?t have to tune them. The synthetic head also gives it a very good open sound especially when you slap them. The only down fall about it is that the MACHO head fits a little tight. Other than that you won?t have any other problem. I truly recommend this product for any bongos. Especially if you want a good quality sound either for recording or a live concert.
