This Ernie Ball Music Man limited-edition StingRay 5 fretless special features a lightweight ash body with a custom Sierra Burst finish. The traditional pickguard has been omitted to showcase the beautiful grain pattern of the highly figured ash body. The fretless neck is roasted with a roasted maple fingerboard and finished in high gloss polyester. This Ernie Ball Music Man bass is equipped with a single alnico humbucking pickup, 3-band EQ and a 3-way switch to deliver all of the familiar StingRay punch along with a variety of coil voicing options. This fretless bass is also loaded with Ernie Ball flatwound strings, offering a smooth, old-school feel and tone. Other key features include custom Ernie Ball Music Man ergonomic tuners, chrome hardware and an Ernie Ball Music Man hardened steel bridge with vintage nickel-plated saddles.
