Best guitar I've ever played

I bought the white with maple fret board. Bought this guitar as something in between a strat (for neck feel and a LP for tone). This guitar nails it. Basically, every time i picked one up at GC I loved the feel. The guitar immediately felt like home. I play a wide variety of music and with the series/parallel switch plus the 5 way blade I have more than enough flexibility. Expect to wait a few months if you order my config - it's well worth the wait. Build quality: almost flawless - there were 2 small springs on the trem that were dull compared to the rest. forgivable. I there was also a very slight paint in the blade swich cavity, again forgible. Other than that the guitar was flawless. Neck: Had to put this in a category of it's own...the neck feels awesome! I love the fact that there is no finish on the back of the neck (my complaint about my Pauls). Also, the cut feels like a strat neck which I prefer to the fat necks on my Pauls. Also, this guitar is fast, the neck is a little narrower than my paul but the transition was easy. Stainless steel frets!! yes! moving across the frets is smooth and effortless. Tone: plenty of variety to choose from making it a very flexible guitar for all genres. a Paul produces my favorite tone but this guitar comes close to a paul and gives more tone flexibility. For certain genre's of music this guitars tone is better. All considered, this guitar produces better tone - mostly because of the flexibility. Tone is a personal preference though and I've found that in this level of guitar you can acheive a great tone between the guitar and the amp no matter what. Also, I love the trem, it sits on the body so resonance is not lost and has a great feel. there's a brass tone block which is a great addition. The guitar stays in tune and is set up really well from the factory Locking tuners - I'll never go without them again. The weight and balance of the guitar is perfect - a welcome relief from my Paul. Over all I'm in love with this guitar and if I were to buy 1 guitar in my life this would be it.

I've played many, many guitars over the 10 years I've been playing, and I have never played a guitar quite like this. I've owned PRS's, a Music Man Super Sport, various custom guitars, and by far, this is the best guitar I've ever played. Very versital, great feel, great tone. Music Man got it right with this one.
