I've had several bongo basses over the years. Every time I trade it away to try something different, I ALWAYS found myself coming back to a bongo bass. These things will produce any tone you can imagine. Easily the most versatile bass I've ever played, and I have owned a Wal MKIII. These bongos punch way above their weight and the onboard EQ is just phenomenal. I often find myself turning off all my effect pedals because the bass itself just sounds so good and natural. Can't recommend the bongo lineup enough. You can't go wrong with any of them. This one in particular has to be my favorite in the looks department. TLDR: Ernie ball makes a killer bass at a fair price.
