One fantastic little guitar for its price! I've been playing since 1966 and was surprised at the quality right out of the box......l have many expensive guitars and smile with my purchase of my Starling....
Solid guitar for the price but the sound is poor to fair

I bought this guitar as a cheaper alternative to my Hummingbird that I don't mind taking outside to the fire pit and passing around to my friends. It definitely suits its purpose. It has a great look, decent action, is fun to play, and overall is very solid for the price range. I was disappointed with the sound. It's definitely not a deep rich sound, but more metallic and twangy. Overall, fun to play and will definitely serve it's purpose, but I think you might be able to find something that sounds better.
