Epiphone Limited Edition Korina Explorer Bass Natural Korina

If you have been thinking about getting an explorer bass.Do it this is a very nice bass.This looks,feels,plays great does not feel cheap actually after looking & playing it you would assume its a gibson seriously.Ive been playin 15 years and this did not dissapoint.I bought a used one in natural korina & it is beautiful.Great compliment to my fender p.Feels very natural finger picking.

This bass is Absolutely AMAZING. The pick up are ridiculous and the neck is has a nice a finish. This Bass is also as Appealing to the eye as its sound. This bass i believe is ideal for Pick Users and Most Idea for Metal but because of its loudness. Only thing that kinda bother me was its length but i quickly adapt to it. I would not recommend this bass for Beginners because of it length and picking action, but if you wanna through the cash, it is totally worth it.

I had been searching for an Explorer Bass in natural Korina for years and Thank You to this dealer for carrying this great axe. I play through a Carvin B2000 amp with a 210 and 410 Carvin cabinets and the tone is penomenal. It is a little neck heavy and since it sits more to the left than a cut away guitar (because of where the strap pins are located), you have to get used to the reach for the lower end of the neck. Takes some getting used to but not a major issue. My only complaint was that Epi didn't have cases in stock and had to wait about 7 months for one. Check on availability of cases if you purchase this guitar. If they aren't in stock be sure to get your name on the waiting list.

The pickups in this bass are fantastic for starters! Id say theyre the best "gibson" made bass pickups and theyre similar to the Thunderbird's pickups. The neck is solid and doesnt need to be set up very often. the strings it comes with are pretty decent roundwounds. pretty bright strings. the neck is VERY FAST! its real easy to move around on. It's practically a double cut-away so the higher notes are easy to get to. If your stepping up from a starter bass, this is your dream come true. The only two bad things i would say are about the explorer are that when you get higher up in the frets the lower strings get kinda muddy. and the other is the the neck dive. its not bad when sitting down and playing and when your standing, the shape of the body is almost like an arm rest and it holds up the bass well. over all...I LOVE THIS BASS!!!!!

Everyone at the shop gasped when we opened the box to reveil the alpine white explorer bass. This axe looks great, sounds great, and is gonna get more attention than our skinny blonde lead singer! Thanks Epi for letting the bassist get the girls with this sweet baby!

I got myself the Natural Korina Explorer for Christmas - The first glimpse out of the plastic bag is breathtaking - This is one sexy instrument. The fit and finish is flawless. Once I set the action and intonation I plugged it in - Very sweet, Thunderbird-like growl. Very low noise. I do have a couple of fairly minor complaints, however: 1. Epiphone ships a small hex wrench that does not fit the bridge saddle set screws; 2. I can't find much of any info anywhere on a hard shell case (or even a gig bag)that fits this axe; 3. A bit of neck dive occurs, but it is definitely tolerable. I played a Gibson Explorer for an hour or so back in the day; As far as I can recall, this Epi is a much better Explorer than the Gibson. I am going to love this bass, and I will definitely recommend it (not just for metal)!
