The best things here are the options. The multi port that is expression pedal or external tap pedal ready, 8 tremolo varieties, the choice to be able to switch seamlessly between presets, the ability to choose the number of presets, 3 tremolo waveforms, choose of buffered or true bypass, etc. It sounds great and cuts through a band mix very well. My only knock against it is that it doesn't have an eq knob like the EQD Nightwire and it doesn't quite sound as full as either the very rich Supro Tremolo which could actually be a good thing since it allows it to cut better in a live setting and recorded band mix. Overall, the best tremolo box I've played and many more options than any on board amplifier tremolo if just tonally a hair brighter. Get if you love switches, traditional and modern tremolo and gobs of possibilities. Skip it if you hate knobs and switches and check out Supro's Tremolo in a box instead. If you want a bit of each the EQD Nightwire is great too.
