Empress Effects

Description

The Empress buffer was designed to be the complete I/O interface for the pedal board, while maintaining the highest fidelity to your guitar's signal. Signal loss due to long, un-buffered cable runs is an issue that has plagued guitar players for decades. The primary goal of the buffer is to eliminate this signal loss, ensuring that your tone is unchanged by your cables. Additionally, all the connectivity of your pedal board is consolidated to make set up quick and easy.

Great pedal. I wish I would have gotten the more expensive one with the boost and noise gate. I love empress pedals. The tremolo 2 is also great.

If you chain this onto your signal correctly it will really help defeat high end tone loss for larger pedal board rigs or of you're just running very long cabling. Great specs for a transparent buffer

  • Its a buffer so not the sexiest of gear, but very essential

Not the sexiest "pedal" to spend your money on but if your using several(+) pedals and lots of patch cables as well as long instrument cables, you need this guy to keep your signal level up. Less hiss and constant response. This does function as the "in" and the "out" for your signal path so no need for one at each end.
