The Empress Bass Compressor contains features and controls normally only seen in high-end studio equipment, such as input and gain reduction metering, independent attack and release controls, a mix knob for parallel compression and an external sidechain insert, along with a fully variable sidechain high-pass filter and a two position "tone + colour" circuit, which adds gentle tone sculpting and harmonic distortion, giving your bass some delicious character.

    Fantastic compressor. Retains your natural tone while simply turning the signal down. You can also add texture if you like with the switch and/or squashing it really hard. My one complaint is that I wish the release time was able to be a little faster. #sweepstakes

    Ive tried several compressors, this is top of the line. The LED readout helps more than I expected. I acutally did not know what I was missing in our mix before getting this.
