We purchased this unit about a month ago after our AudioTechnica wireless mic's cut out on us at a wedding reception (300+ people). We picked up this unit from the Fort Wayne Indiana store the next day. We used it at a 3 point shooting contest with over 3,000 people in attendance. Not one single drop over a 3 hour period of constant use. Simple to use with the one touch scan button, and comes with a very durable case for transportion. All in all, this is a must buy for any mobile DJ or anyone needing a reliable wireless mic.

  • An excellent alternative to Shure products

I purchased this item one day to try something different than the Shure wireless systems. I was very happy with the Re-2 unit. The reciever has a one touch auto-clear scan button (very easy to use). The unit can locate the best channel very quickly . The reciever also has a balanced XLR output and a switchable mic/line level and 1/4" line level output providing the user with many options. The unit does a very good job at maintaining a strong signal. The mic is also very usable but I found it to work better for male voices than female voices. If you want to try a different brand than Shure for a wireless system I would recommend giving this unit a try.
