I was never that good at using my guitars volume app, so this comes in handy to cut back on the gain with the quick flick of a foot switch.
I would buy this again.

This is better than using a boost pedal for electric-acoustic guitar performance without overdrive, etc.
Works in FX loop

Using it in Bassbreaker 30 FX loop to boost volume for solos - set it on for normal volume - click it off for boost - works great
I would recommend this pedal to anyone looking for an inexp!

I picked this up for my Fender Excelsior. The Excelsior is a bit of an oddball that breaks up at a little too low of a volume. I got the signal pad so I could access the breakup when I needed to, but be able to clean it up when necessary. It did clean it up a little bit but I definitely felt like it cut the treble a little bit. Bear in mind the Excelsior is a weird amp that definitely does not react like other amps. I compared it with my solid state amp just to see if it has a tonal impact on a pure clean amp and I didn't hear a noticeable tone change. It's a pedal for unique amps but unfortunately it didn't do the trick for mine (my eventual solution is a eminence legend 1518 speaker so if other excelsior users are looking at this for a solution, check out that as an option).

I have been searching for this. Tiny Terror users are stoked! No more lugging around a huge volume pedal just for two or three short solos. Perfect! Nano pedal board here I come!

Does it work with a harmonica mic through an amp? I need to reduce feedback.
Yes, the Electro‑Harmonix Nano Signal Pad can help reduce feedback when using a harmonica mic through a guitar amp—but with some limitations: How It Helps with Feedback Passive Volume Attenuation: It’s a neutral, passive attenuator—think of it as a foot-switchable volume knob that cleanly cuts signal level without coloring the tone. By reducing the mic’s output to the amp, it helps keep the amp below its feedback threshold. What It Won’t Solve Acoustic Feedback Loops: Feedback often stems from the mic picking up the amp’s sound acoustically—not just too much electrical gain. The Signal Pad lowers volume but doesn’t break that loop Impedance Considerations: Some harmonica mics (like bullet types) have high impedance. Placing a low‑impedance attenuator inline can alter tone or interaction with the amp. Best Practices for Harmonica Players:: Install the Signal Pad between mic and amp. Use normal mic volume, then step on the pad only when feedback occurs. Combine with other anti-feedback methods: Increase distance between mic and amp. Use tone/eq cuts in problematic frequencies. Try smaller, directional harmonica mics. Adjust amp preamp tubes or gain structure. Consider a real feedback suppressor (not just pad) for persistent issues.
