Electro-Harmonix MOD11 Modulator

Description
The Mod 11’s modulation effects are:
1. TREM – Tremolo modulates your signal’s volume. Selectable modes allow your playing envelope to control modulation rate or depth.
2. HARM– Harmonic tremolo. The signal is split into high and low frequency bands and modulated between the two. Selectable modes allow your playing envelope to control modulation rate or depth.
3. VIBR – Vibrato modulates your instrument’s pitch. Selectable modes allow your playing envelope to control modulation rate or depth.
4. UNI – pays homage to the classic Univibe®. Includes “Chorus” and “Vibrato” modes plus added overdrive
5. CHORUS – Warbling, doubling, chorus effect like the EHX Small Clone. Extra modes include tri-chorus and bass chorus effects
6. ROTARY – Rotary speaker cabinet simulation. Extra functionality includes overdrive plus envelope control over rotation speed
7. FLANGE – Flanging with modes for both additive and subtractive flanger. Multiple LFO shapes, including envelope follower
8. TZF – Through Zero Flanger. A flanger effect that crosses through the “zero point” of the sweep where the modulated delayed signal meets back with the dry signal. Modes for both additive and subtractive flanger, plus barber-pole flanger
9. PHASE – Choose from 4, 6, or 8 stage phaser. Multiple LFO shapes including envelope follower
10. PITCH – Modulated pitch shifter. Select your main pitch shift and modulate around it. Extra functionality includes a dry blend and stepped pitch modes
11. FILT – Modulated filter effects like those on classic analog synths. Low Pass, High Pass and Band Pass. Multiple LFO shapes available including a Q-Tron style envelope follower
The Mod 11’s Momentary Mode lets you seamlessly switch in and out of effects mode for quick accents. It also features Tap Tempo controllable via the built-in footswitch or an external one. The Mod 11 is modulation with warp drive!

Fantastic Mod Pedal

Great pedal. Fantastic selection of sounds. Chorus sounds great. The vibrato is fantastic. Extremely versatile pedal. Plays well with the Canyon. I got it used at GC, but would happily pay full price. Next up is the Oceans 11, I think.
Lots of fun, but could be problematic live

This box gets some undeniably great sounds. I love the sound of it's phase shifter and chorus. It has a lot of features that I didn't know I needed but prove to be useful. Harmonic Tremolo, Vibrato, Through-Zero Flange, Pitch, and Filter functions provide a playground of fun. However, once you find that sweet spot, you had better document all the settings changes it took to get there. They will likely be gone once you dial the sound back in, especially if you use the pedal for multiple functions. It is unfortunate that one of the strengths of this pedal (that it allows you to tweak many things) becomes it's weakness in a live setting due to the inability to save presets.

This pedal is well worth every cent. You are getting and amazing selection of tonal options. I use a Fender Clean Amplifier and it really allows the pedals expressions to stand out and prove its depth alone.

Admittedly, I've used this for two hours and may have to update in two weeks, but you need an engineering degree from MIT to take advantage of all these features. If you think you're going to use this pedal out of the box, you are not. You're going to be on one knee with the manual in your hand. I wanted a tremolo/phaser/chorus/flanger all in one to save valuable space on the pedal board. I can't imagine gigging with this. You'll be on one knee with a flashlight adjusting modes and settings all night. I was hoping for a universal setting that might work, and then just adjust from chorus to tremolo. Instead, I'm having to choose if I want a sine envelope filter or a triangle wave. The mode button just makes it worse. It starts out simple green-orange-red. Then you press it again and it starts blinking fast. Now it's blinking slow. What did I press? Whatever I did sounds horrible. You think I'm going to deal with this on stage? Kind of disappointed at this point. I'll update in a few weeks if this changes, but I doubt it.
Swiss Army Knife of modulation

Just received this pedal in the mail and I think its fantastic. I am also an owner of the Canyon pedal so after learning how to use that pedal with the secondary functions, the Mod11 was a breeze to get some great modulation sounds. If you are a gigging musician this pedal may not be for you because you cannot store the different modulations but it does save the settings if you are using the secondary mode so if you change to a different mod setting it remembers what it was set to when you are scrolling turning to knob to different effects. Your tweeked setting is saved in the secondary mode of that setting. Also do yourself a favor and keep the manual handy when you first try out the pedal, it's very helpful and easy to understand and you will benefit be finding so many unique and classic modulation sounds. Very inspiring pedal and lots of fun. Buy one and enjoy.😁🎸🎶

Hi, Does "open box" mean it was returned or was a demo floor model? I just want to make sure everything functions as intended. Thank you.
It means there are signs of use, typically minor scuffs and scratches but it's guaranteed to work.
