    I bought two EH pedals at the same time. The other one lasted one week before it broke, this one (Hot Wax) did not work right out of the box. Both had the same issue, no sound output. I called EH and told them the problem, I verified everything in my signal chain worked except their pedal...he said to send it back because it was probably dropped in shipping, he did not sound surprised. You can't have a pedal that breaks that easily, how am I supposed to gig with something that's unreliable & can't leave my house for fear of breaking. I won't be buying EH pedals again.

    Let me start by saying that I'm not gonna go out and say this is "the best overdrive ever" because honestly everyones tastes are different and you like what you like. However I purely do love the combination of 2 very good overdrive pedals. After playing around with a used one that I purchased it has a very decent range of tones from heavy to light across the 2 drives. Each drive is respectively different and unique and the the little EQ helps alot with some balancing. It is extremely versatille as I purely love it for both my bass and guitar, and has a variety of sounds. The combination of the 2 pedals stacked on each other is a very fun mess that really can push the overdrive into a lead for a very cool mixed sound. I simply love it for what it is.
