collapse expand iconDescription

Electro-Harmonix packs three legendary reverb sounds into the pint-sized Holy Grail Nano. This powerful yet portable pedal puts spring, hall and flerb reverbs at your feet. The Holy Grail Nano delivers the same lush, spacious reverbs that made the original Holy Grail a classic, all while taking up minimal space on your pedal board.

Authentic Spring Reverb for a Vintage Vibe

The Holy Grail Nano's spring reverb emulation faithfully captures the splashy, boingy tone of vintage reverb tanks. Dial it in for a subtle surfy shimmer or crank it up for dripping, cavernous springs. This reverb takes you back to the golden age of rock and roll.

Lush Hall Reverb for a Grand Ambiance

The Holy Grail Nano's hall reverb transforms your tone into a rich, full concert hall ambiance. Sculpt the perfect amount of diffusion and high-end roll off to suit your needs. From a small club to a cathedral, this reverb adds a sense of space without muddying up your original signal.

Otherworldly Flerb Reverb

The flerb reverb combines flanging and reverb for a unique spatial effect. This psychedelic reverb warps your tone in mysterious ways, taking you into uncharted sonic territory. There's nothing else quite like the flerb—it's a reverb from another dimension.

Road-Ready and Pedal Board-Friendly

Housed in a rugged nano chassis, the Holy Grail Nano is built to withstand the rigors of the road. Its compact size makes it easy to fit into any pedal board setup. Powered by a 9V battery or optional power supply, this pedal provides studio-quality reverb wherever your playing takes you.

Great pedal at an even better price

I have been searching for a good reverb pedal to compliment my delays and I found it! This pedal is built like a tank and made to withstand anything thrown at it... I am using it in conjunction with a Boss DD-5 and an Ibanez TS808 and it sounds amazing!

Great sound, but funky to operate

This is a simple but great sounding reverb. Just Spring, Hall and a combination of flanger and reverb they call Flerb. I'm sure there are people who can make use of the Flerb - I'm not one of them. The Spring and Hall sound as good and as organic as any reverb pedals I've tried - admittedly not that many. But I found it really finicky to use. The single control knob seems to adjust all parameters at once, but the result is, for me at least, a VERY narrow "sweet spot". It goes from not strong enough to just about perfect to waaaaay too much with just the tiniest turn of the knob. Which makes it tough to find that "just about perfect" spot. It's not linear so it's tough to use and adjust while playing. Takes too much fine tuning. The reverb on my amp and on the other pedals I've tried are more linear, where there's a fairly wide are where it sounds really good and it's not tough to find it on the fly. I also found some really weird fizzy sounds when I combined it with my OD pedal. I don't know if this pedal is the culprit, but I haven't had it happen with the other reverbs I've tried. I returned it for an RV-6, which I find a lot more user friendly. A bit more $$ and more features/options than I need, but the usability of the options I'll put to use is much better.

This pedal is extremely popular and common, among musicians of all stages, however I'm a bit puzzled about why that is. At about 12:00, you start to get into the reverb, but the next millimeter you're suddenly underwater. While that can be a cool effect, it's really hard to find the sweet spot, between not enough reverb and way too much. Along with that, the 12:00 position seems to be at unity gain, and anything past that lowers your guitar's signal, while increasing the volume and depth of your reverb. I decided that it wasn't for me, and gave the the Holy Grail Neo a try, and that one seems to be much more effective. The reverb comes in around 9:00, and although it jumps into the depths pretty quickly, there is a lot more room to dial it in, and it doesn't mess with unity gain. Along with that, it ditches the Flerb setting, and gives you a luscious plate algorithm, so I'd highly recommend the Holy Grail Neo over the standard Holy Grail.

HG has secured a home on my board. My Marshall's tone is great, but the built in Reverb sucks wind! This pedal does it all and then some with a lil click and tweak from surfer to ominous space warble, it's perfect for recording or performing!

Picked one a few weeks ago because I switched to a tube head without reverb. Orange TH30 which is also awesome but felt the need to add some verb at times. I choose this pedal for 3 reasons, compact, simple operation and $. Good decision I believe. Had no problem daisy chaining to other pedals using my Snark 9V set up and love the spring setting. As others have said, the "Flirb" is virtually impossible to use for any practice purpose and Frank Zappa may be the one person who could have utilized it. Still a good pedal.

Perfect if you're looking for a simple reverb that sounds great without overwhelming you with features. Perhaps a tad pricey for what it does, but was great to bring back the verb after going to a new amp.
