Now, EH has added some extras for those who crave more sound shaping control. Introducing the Deluxe Big Muff Pi. It delivers all the classic sounds of the original NYC Big Muff Pi, plus more.

The MIDS EQ allows tonal shaping of the Big Muff distortion like never seen before, the GATE function lends itself to playing the Big Muff in new ways providing blasts of fuzz when you play and silence when you don't, the ATTACK control adds definition to chords and riffs without getting in the way of the Big Muff's original tone, and BASS BOOST brings back some low end when TONE is turned up to its treble settings.

    Great pedal! I was looking for a fuller tone. This filled every thing in. I really like the upper register it brought to my sound, but was even more pleased with how it filled out the low end. It gives you lots of options to fine tune your sound. I've only scratched the surface.

    Purchased product used from GC was in great shape overall. This is a great pedal for those who like exploring the range of all the muf pedals they make less sovtek of course as it has different circuit etc... I have HSS and 2H guitars with coil split setups etc.. each guitar of course has different dialing in. When using my HSS the noise gate is amazing gets those great sounds without the dreaded 60 hum. If you like muf/fuzz is a great pedal just remember it will take some time to dial in. I agree with the Kae Rae website someone mentioned great starting point for sounds. Have fun with it and as far as pedal placement I put mine in front of my Super Phat overdrive and it sounds great. Have fun and enjoy this pedal. "See you space cowboy.."

    Deluxe Big .... is a Big let Down. Never worked. Too late to return it so I have to throw it away, just like the money I spent on it. I';; try Sweetwater, maybe they sale one that actually works. Thanks Guitar Center.

    First off, I'd strongly recommend visiting Kit Rae's page to get some starting points for dialing in various Big M*ff sounds with this pedal. If you are not someone who likes to turn a bunch of knobs, this pedal might not be for you and you might be better off sticking with one of the reissues. However, if you like experimenting, I would strongly recommend checking out this Big M*ff.
