Electro-Harmonix Classics Small Stone Phase Shifter Guitar Effects Pedal

This pedal sounds very clean. I ordered it and had it shipped to Hawaii where I was on tour and it arrived in time for the shows. I used it everyday for everything from a nice phaser effect on R&B flavored stuff to a pseudo wah effect for some funk tunes. Plus it adds a nice touch to overdriven rock solos. The only problem I had with it was the volume drops a little when its on. But you can easily fix that with a volume pedal set to offset the difference which I did and it worked out fine. Between this and the EVH phaser I would say this has a bit clearer imaging if that makes any sense. Almost like I get a better balance between effect and direct signal.

I bought this pedal about 2 weeks ago and can't quit playing it. It's amazing! This pedal can go from Pink Floyd's Darkside Of The Moon to something out of a space oddessy movie to just "melt your face off... what is that?" It's crazy. One of the best pedals I have and puts out incredible tone. A must buy for anyone that likes spacey out there music.

If you love any Seattle rock group, this is the pedal to get. Like Nirvana, and Pearl Jam they knew what to buy what was right. So, Buy this if you want control of your phase shifter, to set it from slow as a turtle to fast as lightning. BUY IT TODAT!!!

This effect adds a really sweet sound, expecialy after an envelope filter. The only problem is it's lack of controls. you basicaly can only control the speed, or one of two tones. It would really benifit from a depth control. but the sound is amzing, and i even use it with my bass because of it's even frequency responce. you can get some sweet analog synth sounds if you combine it with an envelope filter, chorus and distortion. Overall, if you don't want to spend 300 on a hand-wired pedal, this is a great second choice.

This excellent reissue of the classic original is freaking awesome!!! The sound is warm & responsive, and this electro harmonix pedal is so easy to use, one knob & a color switch, but wow, what sound. It's built well, very sturdy metal construction, it comes in a great little wooden box too.

As with all EH pedals, they are simple to use. You have one knob which controls the amount of phasing, full clockwise speeds it up almost to a univibe-type sound. The color switch adds additional kick to the sound. You can get some cool ambient jam sounds out of this on the slower settings. There is a slight volume drop when turned on, but mine was modded to fix that and now it's great. Sometimes simpler is better. And it's also true bypass, another plus.
