Electro-Harmonix Analogizer demo

Description
The ANALOGIZER can be used in combination with other effects devices. Experiment with any combination to develop your own unique sound. The footswitch toggles between effect and true bypass modes.
GAIN - Controls the input gain of your ANALOGIZER. The available gain ranges from 0 dB to +"+26dB. As you turn the GAIN knob clockwise, the GAIN increases.
SPREAD - Controls the delay time of the ANALOGIZER. The delay time range is from 3.5 mS to 65 mS. As you turn the SPREAD knob clockwise, the delay time increases. Adjusting the SPREAD knob in the lower half of its range will produce tonal variations in the effect; adjustment in the upper half of the SPREAD knob's range can be used to thicken up your sound.
BLEND - Varies the mix of direct and effected signals from 100% dry when set to counter-clockwise to 100% wet at full clockwise.
VOLUME - Controls the output level of the ANALOGIZER. As you turn the VOLUME knob clockwise the volume at the output jack increases. The VOLUME control is after the BLEND knob in the circuit.
INPUT JACK - Connect the output of your instrument or another effects pedal to this jack. The input impedance presented at the INPUT jack is 1 Mï—.
AMP JACK - Connect the AMP jack to your amplifier input or the input of another effects pedal. This is the output of the ANALOGIZER
STATUS LED and FOOTSWITCH - When the STATUS LED is lit, the ANALOGIZER is in effect mode. When the LED is off, the ANALOGIZER is in true bypass mode. Use the FOOTSWITCH to toggle between the two modes.
The ANALOGIZER comes supplied with a 9 Volt battery. The ANALOGIZER can also be powered from a 9VDC AC Adapter capable of delivering at least 20mA. The power supply must have a barrel connector with a center negative plug. The optional 9V power supply from Electro-Harmonix is 9.6DC-200BI (same as used by Boss & Ibanez).

Features
- From 0 to 26db of input gain
- The Analogizer's warmth can mask the harshness of the digital signal
- Easy to balance for the right amount of analog

I wanted to like this pedal, best graphics ever on this one, but in the end I liked my tone with this off, I so wished I liked it, just weird tone almost like a spring reverb without the verb but not in a good way.
Yeah, it delivers... even for a person who doesnt love EHX

If you want to warm up your signal before it hits the amp.. its a great effect, especially if your amp doesnt have an effects loo[. I use it as the 9th pedal in my chain, and it brings the sound to a slightly less digital, metallic sound... softer, to an extent. takes some tweaking, but overall, I like it for the 80s and 90s sound I need --- gives you more of a studio sound live. Its a slight delay, slight overdrive (or just very subtle gain), a volume and a "mix" or blend knob -- in any event, if you want to beef up a metallic chorus tone or a too thin distortion signal -- its great for that. Personally, I dont like EHX pedals because I find most of them to Lo-Fi... but this pedal delivers exactly as I expect. I play a jag with lindy fralins through a fender vibrolux... not sure how the pedal performs on other rigs... but it delivers on mine. Very surprised, since I hated the Soul Food distortion pedal, and am only slightly partial to the electro-mistress.
