I use the 45000 Looping recorder to loop simultaneously my bass and my guitar. The capability to use multiple tracks and adjust volume individually, in addition to sending them either to my bass amp and my guitar amp, all within 1 pedal, is exactly what I was looking for. The SD card enables recording very long loops and store them in memory so there is no need to re-record them from 1 time to the next, which some other pedals require. If you want to make the most of it while playing by yourself, you will need to also buy the foot controller, and a 1/4" jack. But that added value is worth the cost. A USB cable (not provided) also allows to communicate between computer and pedal for home recording. I haven't tried that yet but that is definitely in the plan!!!
Very Good but has some issues.

I have owned this for about 7 months now and have to say over all it is a very good product, first of all read the manual, recording is not is straight forward as it looks. The one issue I have is it will not record 6/8 time, when Midi to a drum machine. It will only record in 4/4 time. That sucks with some songs I play. I also found the input for running a Guitar into it, has to be run very hot for enough signal. The biggest gripe i have is you must buy the foot pedal with it, there is no scree on the unit itself. If not you will not know what loop you are on. Over all the sound quality is very good, and the MIDI works very well. So overall I would say this would be something I would get again, unless something else comes along that fits my needs.
Incredible Machine - Poor Customer Support

This little guy does EXACTLY what the box says and it does it very well. There's a very small learning curve, but you'll be a pro within an hour or two of tinkering. It's super sturdy and absolutely a quality product. The problem comes with Electro-Harmonix themselves. Getting help on simple issues or an answer to a single question requires diligence. Their 'Support Forums' are an absolute joke. I asked two questions a month ago and have NEVER received a single answer to either of them on the forums. It's as though they forgot that they labeled it 'Support'. It seems as though its 4 moderators don't have the time to actually help anyone. I finally found an email address and got one of my questions answered, the other one I've given up on. So, if customer service is important to you (and it should be) look elsewhere. But, if you're willing to plop down $500 on something you could conceivably get zero help on, then have at it.
