Solid Guitar...More like 3.5 stars

Guitar sounds good. Stock pickups are better than I expected. Tuners are solid, though if you use a heavy B string .64 wont fit though the tuner hole. It's a reverse headstock so tuners are a bit harder to find for a direct replacement. Input jack, knobs, finish, neck, nut were good. Neck had some rough fret edges, probably the biggest issue with this guitar, and will probably need some work there. Guitar needed a setup, neck adjustment/intonation. Nice guitar, cheap enough to do pickup upgrades, could have been a little cheaper, has some budget guitar issues. Nothing that cant be corrected. In my experience the China built LTDs have been better workmanship. Nothing terrible, just some small details that could have been better, rough fret edges are unacceptable coming from a company like ESP/LTD, apparently inspected in the USA. Overall solid, but for me there are a few things to iron out, nut, tuners, possibly pickups might benefit from an upgrade, but what's there is definitely quality enough to keep, and be useable.
