The LTD Phoenix-1004 Bass from ESP is designed to offer the tone, feel, looks and quality that working professional musicians expect from their instruments. This stunning bass offers a 34” scale neck-thru-body design, using a five-piece mahogany/walnut neck with a satin finish for smooth playability, along with mahogany body wings and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with ESP flag inlays. Other highlights of the Phoenix-1004 include its reverse headstock, LTD vintage tuners, Gotoh 201B-4 bridge and a set of outstanding EMG 35P4 and EMG 35J pickups.

    Awesome bass! The combination of the 5-piece mahogany/walnut neck with a satin finish and ebony fretboard is so comfortable, smooth, and easy to play with. The pickups are nice, clean, and punchy, a happy medium between a passive and active sound. The reverse headstock is a very cool feature as well.
