This is my second 7 string guitar. My first was an LTD 407, which is a single cut with EMGs. That one is cheaper, but it's heavy and has a neck that feels not unlike a baseball bat. This MH-1007 LTD, however, has a much more comfortable weight, no awkward feel, has a manageable 25.5" scale length, and (for a 7 string) a fast and playable neck. The fishman fluence pickups have a great sound that I love, even though I all my other guitars have EMGs. The pickups can even be made split coil to give more options to shape your tone. If you only want to buy one 7 string, this is the one to get.
