ESP LTD H-1001FR Electric Guitar Black Natural Burst

I'm the owner of an Ibanez rg6pfgmltd premium, and it's fast and smooth with stainless steel frets, and it's light. And my new Ltd H1001fr after the same setup I put on my rg6pfgmltd is amazing! Did not know it comes with stainless steel frets, what a bargain for a professional playing instrument! And it's beautiful too, the gloss neck finish is fine with me, because it's so comfortable to the touch, that you can't even get uncomfortable while playing, fast or slow! Believe me, I play fast on Ibanez, and this 1049.00 ESP Ltd is in the same ball park. Playing heavy metal on this guitar is articulate and clear, but it's really got a lot of bit at the same time! And plays like butter because of the stainless steel frets, some people don't care about stainless, but Oh well I know what's better. Maybe more expensive for repairs if needed on this beast, but who cares, it's worth it.

Only had this guitar a few weeks, so far so good. Really nice sounds great.

I'm a long-time metal head and have been searching for great tone for a long time. My search is over. Wow! The SD pickups are insane - very warm and with the perfect amount of brightness. Everything I play sounds amazing! My tone is vibrant and alive even through VST plugins. Be prepared - this is a very heavy guitar - heavier than my 8-string. If I had one complaint it would be that the neck is a little "sticky" and it's a little bit of work moving up and down the neck. This might be fixed with some polish or could even be the oils on my hands, so take that complaint with a grain of salt. This is still a shredding guitar and I was playing faster and cleaner on it than on my (formerly) main guitar. The build quality is phenomenal and I couldn't find a single flaw anywhere. It feels like it's built like a tank! Recommend without reservation.
