ESP
Description
The ESP LTD B-204SM Electric Bass Guitar has a bright-sounding ash body with a beautiful spalted maple top. Featuring string-thru design and active electronics, this bass has sound features that will inspire you.

Built with 5-piece maple for maximum stability, the bolt-on neck is set deep into the body for a winning combination of snap and sustain. The Thin U Neck Contour gives your fingers optimum access to the full scale of the 24-fret neck.

The LTD B-204SM has 5 controls for dialing in just the right sound for the song. A balance control allows you to blend the output of the 2 pickups - full neck, full bridge, or anywhere in between. Separate bass, mid, and treble boost/cut controls enable further tone tweaking of your blend setting. A master volume completes the electronics section.

After GC Platinum setup and some play in time, to let everything settle down a bit and all the parts Mesh with each other, this bass sounds amazing! The look of the all natural wood is also impressive! For me, this bass weight wise, feels the same as my other mid tier basses! You will not be disappointed!

Love this bass. I've played many shows with it and recording a record with it. Solid sound, feel, and just an overall great bass for a great price. I highly recommend this bass to novice players and experienced players alike.

Wanted to try out a bass guitar after playing guitar for many years. Very fun to play this with Rocksmith and I've found bass guitar possibly more fun than guitar. This product has great quality. I've always had luck with LTD guitars. Often going into the store and they always feel good and sound good. The wood finish is really awesome on this. I think I'll be playing bass more than guitar for a good amount of time.

The second I saw this bass, I was hooked, and still am, to a natural wood finish. I took a bit of a risk with this bass because each one looks different (because of the spalted maple). Luckily, mine came out to be even more beautiful than I thought! Sounds amazing and I never regretted purchasing it! Only issue I had was that it had a few raised frets, causing the strings to buzz... got it fixed and it sounds better than ever.

I was thinking about a Schecter Stilleto and was visiting the Guitar Center store in Nashville when this baby caught my eye hanging in the used instrument section. I swear I thought it was a brand new bass.... Plugged it into a big Orange rig they had in the store and knew I had to have it. Seems very solid and well built with a super thin neck and easy action that I appreciate as I have small hands... For a bolt on neck it has a good sustain and you can get a lot of tonal variation with the 3 band eq knobs.... A really pretty instrument too... dig the spalted maple finish with all the grain patterns... gives it a nice organic look... Haven't had it long enough to give a more thorough review but after owning it for a month I completely forgot I was looking for that Schecter...
