Got a free set of Dunlops when I bought a capo and thought I wouldn't like them. Put them on a few months later and for the price they are a great string. Had them on 2 weeks now and the tone is still really good so I just bought 2 more sets
Not what I hoped for in sound

I bought a 3 pack when these Dunlop strings were on sale to try them out. After breaking them in for a week everyday they were okay on my Fender dreadnought. Then I tried them on my Ibanez cut away and they sounded heavy and muted. Eight months later I gave up, because there was no crisp treble or good warm base tones AT ALL! I switched to Martin strings and haven't used anything else.

Best strings I've bought for my guitar. Was skeptical at first but since I've had them on they are amazing. Break in quickly with little to no tone loss and lock in to pitch almost immediately. Gonna start buying these in bulk.
These rock. Sound great and don't break the bank!

Pretty bummed about these strings. After I first got them on, they felt and sounded great. Real warm tone, and with a feeling of having been lovingly broken in. But within a week or so (about 3-4 hours of practice spread throughout the week on that guitar), they started to look pretty tarnished and we're losing a lot of their tone. Now they just sound kinda dull and blah. Bottom line, I'll go back to my Ernie Balls. If you get a pack, I hope you have better luck than I did.
