    I got these because Guitar Center did not carry the 45/100 D'Addario strings that I wanted (which came stock on my G&L Fallout bass). Turns out I really like them on this bass-they produce a somewhat piano-like tone to a very deep upright tone (depending on how the tone controls and pickup selector are set).
