I ordered this exact same product (three of 'em) from the big internet store a few weeks ago - when they arrived, they were somehow substandard - the plastic was too soft and the dampener didn't even touch the drum head. Maybe it was the vendor, maybe a bad batch, maybe a knock off, but these were the exact same price and match the one I ordered 2 years ago online. I love these for the snare, and I'll also use them on the resonant head of some toms to take out the king-kong tones. It's good to have a few laying around if you gig or play someone else's kit and don't want to tune their heads around. Overall a great product!
