Digital Reference

collapse expand iconDescription

Originally offered as part of Digital Reference's drum miking kit, the Digital Reference DRST100 is now available separately. It features an integrated male XLR connector that captures the snap and sizzle of snare hits and rim shots and provides plenty of punch for toms. Its compact size with all-metal construction and rugged mesh grill make it ideal for live stage environments, as does its custom mic clip with articulating pivot, and universal rim mount. It's easy to achieve exact placement for optimum sound with this versatile mounting system. The low-profile design results in minimum visibility. Now your entire kit can sound great every time, everywhere, all for a low, low price.

I have this as part of the drum mic kit. This mic sounds really good for the price; way better than the cheap CAD and NADY mics. It does sound better on toms than snare but still is clear and has a great tonal balance. It does sound slightly darker and phatter than a SM57 but placement and EQ will fix that. Beside drums, this thing handles vocals surprisingly well.

Does this mic come with the rim mounting black plastic clip? I bought the set of 4, but need one more.
