FOR ACOUSTIC GIGS...GREAT!
I bought the Jamman stereo about a month ago for doing live acoustic duo performances. Wow, i love this pedal. I put a good 10 hours of time into sampling / recording stuff either by microphone or auxiliary input with an ipod. The first gig i did with it was awesome. It opened up a whole new way to use backing tracks as far as rhythms or percussion. The pedals are easy to click with your feet and are well-lit so you can see what your doing. It does take a little bit of time to get used to but so does every pedal that has so much to offer. This is my first looper pedal and i think itll be my last. The first 11 slots in the memory are preset beats that come stock with the pedal but 12-99 are blank and open for recording. Ive only used 20 or so and there's soo much space to record stuff -- fantastic. Its well worth the buy if your doin live gigs, if your just playing at home to jam over you'd probably be better off with the single pedal or another model thats cheap.

Keep looking, don't waste your money.
This was the second unit I've tried with poor results. First unit refused to connect via USB and was returned. Second unit worked well until I ran into a problem trying to utilize a 32Gb SDHC card and was unable to store more than 1.86 GB until JMManager XT (a horrible piece of software in its own right) sait the card was full. This is a known bug with many unanswered complaints in the forums since 2010. So it appears Digitech isn't interested in fixing the problem. So it too was returned. Keep looking if you're interested in a quality looper with real functional features.

Why couldn't they have made this in 12v

I cannot imagine why this wasn't made to operate on 12v being that a street musician needs clean sound and could simply wire it to a car battery. But no. It had to be 9v even though it doesn't have a 9v battery port. So, the street musician (to use a 12v battery) has to figure out where to get a pure sine wave inverter and be able to afford one. I bought a Roland piano that is 12v and simply cut the ac adapter off and wired it center negative. Works perfectly. But I need this looper to do the same but have run into this wall of difficulty trying to figure out which way to go over this seemingly simple problem
Disappointed

It's a bit complicated to use, and it's missing some features you'd expect as a give. Like, when using the click track or drink machine, no easy way to set bpm. No way to pause the playback at a give point. Leaf in count when overdubbing, so if you want to come i on one, you have to wait thru the enter loop. Just not a well designed package.
i love this product
