Outstanding tuner/metronome!!

My daughter got me this for Christmas 2013. What an amazing little tuner & metronome! I mean, this little thing does EVERYTHING! It can switch from silent (input jack) tuning to live, audible, A=440Hz tone tuning. It also can chromatically tune to whatever pitch you need too, either up or down. Press the main red button to switch from silent to audible. Press the "Note" button and it changes the note chromatically. Press the "Calib" button and it ever-so-slightly changes the A=440 tone up or down, ex: 439, 438, or 441, 442, etc.. The metronome is also a great feature and has multiple beats and tempos, and not just a simple, basic, "tick tock" type of beat. The LED lights blink to the beat as it makes its audible sounds. Example: Set it for a 3/4 time signature and the metronome will go, "ONE,2,3, ONE,2,3" with the green LED light blinking on "ONE" and the two red LED lights blinking on "2" and "3", all while making the audible pitch/beep to the beat.

I'm happy I got this tuner and metronome. It tunes accurately, I even compared it to two other tuners, a Snark and a Korg CA-30, and my amp, a G-DEC 3 Thirty and they all matched. So I'd say tuning on this little gadget it right on. The metronome has both blinking lights and a sweeping lcd pendulum that keeps time. As for the lights, the middle or green light flashes on the downbeat and the two red lights flash on the upbeat. This is very helpful when you play quarter or eighth notes, etc. It also plays a tone so you can train your ear for tuning. No volume control but I have not found that to be a problem, and the pendulum and the lights take care of that if you have problems with it being either too loud or too soft. You can turn off all sound so there is no sound at all, just the pendulum or lights. I'd say for the money, this is a keeper.
