Deering 50th Anniversary Limited-Edition Resonator Banjo

Description
The Deering 50th Anniversary limited-edition Resonator Banjo honors five decades of American banjo craftsmanship with a design that balances tradition and rare artistry. Only 10 of these limited pieces exist, making this instrument a true collector's item. Its AAA-grade figured maple neck and resonator, finished in a rich sepia burst, highlight the natural grain for strong stage presence and reliable resonance. The 06 Deering tone ring delivers crisp, balanced notes that cut through any acoustic setting. Gold-plated hardware and gold mother-of-pearl inlays create a striking visual contrast under stage lights or in a home collection. For players or collectors searching for a banjo that offers both stunning tone and unique historical value, this model marks a moment in music history and a serious upgrade in playability.
06 Tone Ring Drives Clarity and Projection
The 06 tone ring uses a special alloy and precise shaping to boost note clarity and volume. Placed within the resonator shell, it transfers string energy efficiently for a quick attack and full-bodied sound. Every note jumps out with crisp separation, which helps players stand out in group settings or on stage. This feature means the banjo delivers a bold, ringing tone that helps articulate every detail of your picking hand.
Gold-Plated Hardware and Inlays Elevate Style
Gold-plated hardware and gold mother-of-pearl inlays transform this anniversary banjo into a visual centerpiece. Each tuning machine, armrest, and flange gleams with a warm gold finish that resists tarnish. Intricate inlay work on the fingerboard and headstock honors Deering's half-century legacy, while the commemorative anniversary inlay marks this instrument as a true milestone. The result is a stage-ready banjo that draws attention before the first note even rings out.
Ebony Fingerboard and Custom Details Enhance Playability
An A-grade ebony fingerboard creates a fast, smooth playing surface that resists wear over time. The fingerboard's density supports clear, articulate fretting and helps preserve intonation during extended playing. AAA-grade figured maple in the neck and resonator adds stability and enhances sustain. Combined with a comfortable neck profile, these details make the instrument feel responsive in both solo and ensemble settings.
AAA-Grade Maple Construction Boosts Durability
The limited-edition resonator banjo's AAA-grade figured maple neck and resonator are built for strength and longevity. The dense, flame maple resists warping and cracking, while a high-gloss finish protects the wood from moisture and handling. Gold-plated metal components resist corrosion and keep the instrument looking sharp for years. Every piece is assembled with care, ensuring a long-lasting build that will stand up to years of regular use.
Playing Experience Sets the 50th Anniversary Banjo Apart
Serious players and collectors alike will recognize the immediate impact of the Deering anniversary banjo's balanced tone, standout style, and responsive feel. Built for those who demand clarity, visual distinction, and heirloom quality, this resonator banjo transforms practice, performance, and collection display into something memorable. Each feature combines to deliver a musical tool that stands out—and will continue to do so for decades to come.

Warranty
IF YOU BUY A "NEW" DEERING BANJO FROM A NON-AUTHORIZED DEALER, YOU HAVE PURCHASED A USED BANJO AND HAVE NO WARRANTY. When we send a Deering banjo to an authorized dealer, only that dealer or another authorized dealer can sell that banjo as new. If an authorized dealer sells a new Deering banjo to a non-authorized dealer, the non authorized dealer becomes the first owner and he becomes the bearer of the lifetime warranty; not a new dealer by transfer. When the unauthorized dealer sells that banjo to the consumer, even if it was never played or even touched, it is a used instrument and no longer carries the lifetime warranty. This is necessary so that we know how the banjo has been cared for between the time we ship it and the time that our customers buy it. We have no way of knowing how non-authorized dealers care for their instruments because we do not communicate with them. This also honors and protects the strong relationship between Deering and its treasured network of hard working Deering dealers. For your protection against theft and to ensure immediate proof of ownership, four digits of the serial number are visible on the back of the peghead on each banjo. The full serial number is inside the resonator. When you purchase a Deering banjo and send in the warranty card you will receive a Gold Credit card style ownership/warranty card. This gold card is embossed with your name and the serial number of your new banjo for easy identification. Take your Gold Card with you to festivals or when traveling so that if your banjo is ever stolen you can easily prove it's yours.
