This is the center of my rig. It does so much, so well that I am still learning functions. It's easy to begin experimenting with alternate pedal configurations immediately. Once you find a combination you like, it can be stored in one of one hundred and twenty-eight presets (MIDI 0-127). It not only stores configurations, it can command other MIDI devices. If I activate preset Bank 1-A (MIDI 0) on the Pedal Palette, it echos the command down the MIDI chain. All other MIDI devices will respond to the command, if they have a preset for MIDI 0. For example, I also use a DB11 Loop Expander, which responds to the Pedal Palette MIDI 0 preset by activating the loop with the noise gate. The overall sound is transparent. It even improves existing sound by shortening the signal chain. I have still not experimented with parallel signal chains. * Careful opening the box, I found the 'Store/Edit' button in the bottom of the box. It just pushed back on, but it would be easy to lose.
