Death By Audio Moonbeam Phaser Pedal - Black

From slow, celestial drifts to aggressive, ring-modulated motion, the Death By Audio Moonbeam Phaser expands analog modulation into richly expressive territory. Built around a dual-engine, multi-stage design, this stereo phaser pedal allows you to shape everything from classic swirling movement to resonant bends and vocal-like filter sweeps. Six selectable phase stages, true stereo operation and generous headroom give the pedal the range to adapt to subtle modulation or extreme sound design, all reflected through its morphing, color-coded display. Part of Death By Audio’s Destroyer Series, the Moonbeam Phaser glows with expansive tonal flexibility in a compact, pedalboard-friendly format built for adventurous players.
Six Distinct Phaser Stages With Deep Modulation Range
At its core, the Moonbeam Phaser features two fully analog six-stage phase engines, with each stage offering a distinct modulation character. Stage 1 produces a sweeping high-pass tremolo, while Stage 2 emphasizes notch-filtered resonance. Stage 3 blends phasing with harmonic tremolo, Stage 4 delivers the familiar classic phaser sound, Stage 5 increases resonance with added treble focus and Stage 6 provides a full, bass-forward phasing response. The FREQ and DEPTH controls extend the range from ultra-slow, evolving sweeps to fast, ring-modulated motion, while the moving-light display visually follows the modulation for a direct connection between sound and motion.
Flexible Stereo Operation and Signal Integration
The Moonbeam Phaser supports mono, mono-to-stereo and full stereo configurations through its TRS input and output jacks, paired with an internal input-configuration switch. In stereo operation, the two phase engines spread modulation across the sound field, creating a wide and immersive effect well suited for recording or performance. The pedal accommodates a wide range of signal sources including guitar, bass and synthesizers while maintaining clarity under complex modulation and higher-output signals.
Compact, Tour-Ready Design From the Destroyer Series
As part of Death By Audio’s Destroyer Series of pedals, the Moonbeam Phaser pairs a compact footprint with the brand’s reputation for rugged construction. Hand-assembled with quality components, it is designed to withstand demanding rehearsal and touring environments. Powered by a standard 9V DC supply and drawing 72mA when engaged, the pedal combines minimal controls with a glowing vintage-style display for an intuitive user experience.
