great bass for a great price

This bass is great. I have played many basses before and this one is better than some pretty expensive ones too. Dean basses are probably some of the best. I recommend this to any players looking for good basses.

Absolute TERRIBLE CHEAP hardware. Will NOT last.

RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX Brand New, I'm talking about I've played this bass twice for 10mins each time, 2..TWO head stock screws for the tuning machines were broken off inside the head stock, Volume knob just fell off.. I'm just waiting to see what else is going to fall apart. I called Dean about this problem and the worthless tech guy said "I must have hit the guitar on something" and there was nothing they could do. I JUST GOT IT! I did not hit it on anything! This is the 2nd Dean bass I have and the last one had problems too! Like the pick up not set in the body right and the nut not even glued on! Useless poor quality guitars that fall apart with worthless ripoff tech support that won't even acklowlege their mistakes. LAST DEAN GUITAR IM EVER BUYING STAY FAR FAR AWAY.

My bass came in with the neck warped and with a huge ding. Anyways that doesn't matter. I've had nothing but problems with GC. Time to switch to Musicians Friend or Sweetwater.

  • I love this bass. Would recommend.

Not bad for the price. Looks heavy but not too bad. I'd change the strings. Tone knob is loose but I live by the manufacturer so I'll get it fixed with my warranty.

  • Awesome!

This bass feels great. The neck is thin the body shape is comfortable for sitting and standing, the electronics are solid, and it sounds great. The only thing I don't like is that it only comes in black. I sanded mine down and stained it. There is a beautiful wood grain under that black paint. Now I have my dream bass for a very affordable price.
