Dean V Select with Fluence Electric Guitar Black Satin

The Dean V has been a staple of the company's lineup since 1977. This V initially found favor with German hard rock guitarists; today, you'll find it in the hands of many thrash and metal musicians. The V Select shares its classic mahogany body. The mahogany neck is set-in for maximum sustain, with a vintage-style V-shaped profile. The ebony fretboard has a flat 12" radius, perfect for sweep picking, speedy runs and tuneful bends. Both the body and neck are satin-finished. 

Dean loads the V Select with a pair Fishman Fluence Modern pickups. These game-changing humbuckers are hum and noise free, with selectable voicing via a push/pull pot. Voice 1 is an ideal active alnico sound, full and round. Voice 2 is crisp, clean and fluid. 500K audio taper pots give you that smooth roll without destroying the tone.

Other features include a string thru body tailpiece, tune-o-matic bridge, Grover tuners and body and fretboard binding.
