This bass is a great acoustic bass with a very unique tone. This bass also seems to have a shorter scale length and a couple more frets than your average P or J bass that I personally think adds to it. If you want to put a strap on this bass make sure you get a quick release system due to it missing a second screw for the strap. The only issue I really have with this bass is that it has a skinny neck, with strings that are closer together. I enjoy slapping and popping on the bass so it is kind of hard to pop on the d string but it isn't impossible with some practice. This bass is louder acousticly than most acoustic basses but it is still more quiet than most acoustic guitars so if you're playing live, plug it in. Plugged in you may experience feedback, but it isn't unplayable. This bass shines when playing alone and practicing and that should be the main reason you get it, but it could spice up a live show.

I use it to back up singers, add to the guitar class sound and feel of a bottom beat besides drums. It shines all over, even in the cracks, it will look awesome with NEON strings. The only possible downside is its weight, feels heavier than my solid body Les Paul. The signature sound says it all.
