Dean
Description

The Dean MD24 K is an homage to the days of classic rock music and a time when your gear was a reflection of your influences. There will be no question about your rock roots with this Select Series electric guitar, featuring a classic Kahler Hybrid Tremolo system with a Kahler locking nut. Adding a locking nut increases tuning stability and eliminates the need for string trees, no matter how vigorously you attack the whammy bar. With a black satin finished basswood body and 24 fret ebony fingerboard on a 3-piece maple neck, the MD 24 K guitar is built for both looks and sound. Equipped with exclusive Parchment Seymour Duncan TB5 and APH-1 high output pickups, this axe cranks out everything from modern metal licks to warm bluesy rock tones with clear, clean articulation.

Dean and Kahler match made in heaven. I wanted to start playing with a bar again. I tried another product sent it back. I got the Dean made the right choice. For me the ease of playability with a factory installed kahler was not something I experienced since the 80,s The neck is a little wider than I expected whatever I will live. The action was fine right out if the box. The pickups are lively enough. The is just a volume nob which is all anyone needs anyway I have not tried it in any alternate tuning, but I am sure it would be fine This guitar plays with the ease and stability of a fixed bridge guitar. They got it right period thanks Gary. Thanks Dean .
