Dean’s Z Select Series electric guitars offer pro-level quality that are wallet-friendly for the working musician. Built with mahogany—a tonewood used in the early ’50s on guitars that are prized and priceless today—the left-handed Z-select exploits the wood known for its warmth and well-balanced sounds. The Dean Z Select left hand model comes loaded with Seymour Duncan humbuckers. The Bridge SH5 is a “beefier” PAF with a distinctive high end and mid-range attack. The neck’s APH-1 has a moderate output, great for backing off the crunch and going clean. Both come in a zebra parchment finish with sand-blasted pole pieces. The audio taper pots have a smooth roll that won’t destroy the tone.
