Ain't Goin' Nowhere

This clamp must have been designed by drummer/engineers. It is fully adjustable in any direction, clamps firmly to the stand, and doesn't move once it's set. The chrome is high quality, the metal is strong, the clamps on the ball joints do not slip. DW is nursing its reputation to make the best accessories, bar none. Longevity is the next field test.

Good, but can be unstable

These can be unstable, especially when you have a crash, a 10" and 12" tom on there. It's best to get the 2 single mounts unless you are going to have an 8" and 10".

    I am mounting this to a sturdy cymbal stand w/cymbal tilter/boom arm, to mount the 10" & 12" toms on my Gretsch Catalina Birch drum kit. I put the 13" tom on the mount on my bass drum. This way I get three mounted toms out in front of me. Works well. Solid quality. 1/2", 12.7 mm L-rods.

    This double tom mount is perfect for mounting toms to an existing cymbal stand. I purchased two, one for the rack toms and one for the floor toms. Very high quality and reliable.
