    I really, really, really like this stand! Has a nice low profile and one less section of tubing, so that you can get your ride (or whatever else you use it for) as low as you want it. Has the same ultra-sturdy tripod base as the rest of the 9000 line, is very heavy, and is high on convenience. One thing I've noticed with all DW cymbal mounting devices...they use a really hard type of felt that I have not found to be very flattering to any cymbal I've ever tried...I always replace the DW felts with something softer...no biggie - they make great stuff otherwise!

    DW gear speaks for itself. The 9000 series (everything) is just so nice. The cymbal stands hold everything securely, no wobble and this short boom holds the ride in place perfectly. 9000 series pedals are so great I'll never use anything else.

    You can never go wrong with DW equipment. GC was competitive in their pricing structure and had an excellent selection of product.
