Description

This CP-7500 Single-Braced Hi-Hat Stand was designed with the working drummer in mind. Light, yet sturdy, this single-braced hi-hat stand features a foldable-radius-rod base, which contributes to the lightweight construction without sacrificing stability. DW manufactured this stand with plastic tube insulators inside the heavy-gauge tubing”a necessity in recording situations to avoid rattling when drum mics are placed close to stands. The SM379 Locking Clutch comes standard and allows you to dial in your preferred closed sloshiness and then lock those settings in place.

  • The Best Hi-Hat Stand I've Ever Owned!

This is the ultimate hi-hat stand for the working drummer! The design features are great, and the build quality is superb. DW is also great at thinking of the little things that other companies overlook: It comes with two pull-rods (one long, one short) and a heavy-duty drum key with a holder that clips onto the stand-- you you won't find that kind of attention to detail and added value anywhere else in this price range! The pedal action is also ridiculously smooth, with easily-adjustable spring tension. While it does weigh in a bit heavier than most other single-braced stands, it's still lighter than a double-braced model and will cut down on the amount of weight of your trap case. There's a reason why big-name drummers seek out DW just for their pedals; they really are that good!

  • Absolutely love it!

Very smooth hi hat pedal. Actually smoother than my Yamaha hi hat stand. Not too heavy, (single braced) and great right out of the box. DW has great warranty on their hardware also.

Pure, simple and light. I have plenty of hardware that has served me well through the years that was built to last and weigh twice as much. Leave it at home! The DW 7000 series stands are built to travel and have the same DW quality mechanisms. This stand packs up a lot faster with no screws to turn on the foot plate like other DW models. For the smaller fit in your bag you might just bring an extra stand to the next gig.

    What does single braced mean?

    Open Reply - Beau
This means the stand has single braced legs instead of double braced legs. The single braced stands are somewhat lighter but slightly less durable.
