The DW 9000 series was designed to be heavy-duty and lightweight and while the 9300 Series Snare Stand is a chip off this block, it now also offers revolutionary airlift hardware for ease of positioning. The secret is a built-in pneumatic shock which provides air cushion to bear the weight of your snare and ensure effortless adjustments. Created with double pedal set-ups in mind, the stand also offers double-braced legs, an offset basket for optimal snare positioning and captive wingscrews and techlocks for a quick teardown. On the flipside, this stand is loaded with memory locks to ensure a quick and familiar setup.

    makes changing snare drums easier. because of different size. 14 x 61/2 to 14 x 51/2/ .you need to adjust.

    I have owned many different drums, stands, cymbals, etc. through the years from many different manufacturers, and I have found that that DW hardware (especially the 9000 series) is some of the best designed and machined products available to drummers. The only reason I didn't give this snare stand five stars is because I reserve that fifth star for a product that just blows my mind beyond comprehension. My standards for rating are higher than most. So, me giving this snare stand four stars is pretty much saying it ROCKS! For the record, I'm not some young drummer just starting out, and who doesn't understand differences in quality via years of experience and product knowledge. In fact, I could list the names of some drum manufacturer's whose products that I still own or have owned that aren't in business anymore. So trust me when I say DW 9000 series is the way to go!

    Very versatile stand makes changing between my brass and titanium snares a breeze!!! Quiet and sturdy. Would recommend this stand to everyone

    Can you take this stand higher than normal stands. I need one to set like textbook at my waist. Most won't raise to that height for me. Granted I use multiple size. 8 inch deep to a 5&1/2.
