Super lightweight, nice features, seems well made. I have not had a chance to use it yet, but am fairly certain it will work just fine.

Love these lightweight stands. They're solid as can be, yet have such a small footprint. Fortunately I didn't buy the whole set of these ultra-lights as the hi-hat really needs some stability improvements. Buy the non-lightweight 6000 hi-hat.

I love the small footprint and how solid and easy this stand is to use. I'm getting lazy in my old age and really love how the pops into place. So light. A no brain purchase! Glad I didn't buy the entire set. Purchased the hi-hat separately and it's quite wobbly.
Solid. DW comes through with Ultra Light

I've been using this stand for a few months now, so after living with it for a while I decided to offer my opinion. I've been scaling down to lighter weight hardware, and this stand is perfect. It is very solid despite its light weight. It also has a nifty little divet drilled into the tubing that acts as a memory lock. The only thing I don't like about it is that the flat legs are not as easy to position in a cluster of stands. However, that's a small price to pay when this stand weighs half as much as the stand it replaced, and I have to set up and tear down three or four nights a week, and carry all my own gear.
