collapse expand iconDescription

The DW 3000 Series 2-Leg Hi-Hat Stand is a medium-weight, stage-ready stand designed for drummers who demand durability and precision. The 3000 Series has been completely redesigned from the ground up by Drum Workshop to deliver a smooth, responsive playing experience for working drummers utilizing double bass drum pedals.

Hinged Memory Locks Ensure Repeatability

The 3500TA hi-hat stand features hinged memory locks at the tube joints that allow for precise, repeatable height settings each and every time you set up. The spring-loaded tension adjustment mechanism is both precise and straightforward to operate, letting you dial in just the right amount of resistance and responsiveness.

Lateral Cymbal Seat Adjustment for Ultimate Control

A lateral cymbal seat angle adjustment gives players complete control over their hi-hat positioning and angle. Easily adjust the top cymbal's angle to your desired playing position for comfortable access and an ergonomic setup. The swiveling tripod baseplate with non-skid rubber feet help keep the stand firmly in place on any playing surface.

Rugged Design and Premium Components

The 3000 Series 2-Leg Hi-Hat Stand is built to withstand the demands of frequent gigging and touring. It features a lockable, folding tripod baseplate, heavy-gauge steel tubing and premium components like a heavy-chain linkage and DW 379 locking clutch to keep your top cymbal securely in the desired position during playing. Designed for drummers who want a streamlined setup, the 2-leg configuration provides stability without excess bulk.

Versatility for Every Player

With its rugged yet responsive design and array of professional-grade features, the DW 3000 Series 2-Leg Hi-Hat Stand is an excellent choice for drummers of all playing styles and experience levels. Whether you're a working drummer gigging several nights a week or a player who values precision, durability and adjustability, this stand delivers.

Took me years to decide on getting a two leg stand. And this one does what I need at a price I can live with.

The pedal itself is fantastic. The trick is the pull the pedal stand all the way down and then adjust the legs. In a perfect world I'm sure that is a great idea but if you are on an uneven stage or part of your kit is on a mat and the stand is half on and half off then it's a little more tricky. It just doesn't seem super sturdy if that's the case.

  • This is a good product but beware of potential QC issues.

I bought two of these. The first one was awful and rattled so I took it back. I checked out another one and it was perfect. Just make sure you check out the stand before buying it. I saw another review with a similar issue so probably just a QC issue or a used return resold as new.

  • Excellent and not too heavy on the wallet!

New to owning a 2-leg stand, but I am loving it. It also has the tilt adjustment which is super cool to me.

I bought this hi hat stand since I love my DW3000 bass drum pedal and thought it would be similar quality and design, but it's like this hi hat stand was designed by a completely different company. It's definitely on the light side of medium duty and has several head shaking design choices. I've had several hi hat stands over the years, but this one just doesn't make any sense. The footboard doesn't function well at all, the clutch is super cheap and the tension adjustment is weird. You could not tour reliably with this stand. I returned it and got the Yamaha that's the same price and I'm really glad I did. The Tama is probably a good choice too - definitely better than this one.

This is the longer of the types of rods they use in DW hi-hat stands.
