Took me years to decide on getting a two leg stand. And this one does what I need at a price I can live with.
The two legs are kinda wobbly

The pedal itself is fantastic. The trick is the pull the pedal stand all the way down and then adjust the legs. In a perfect world I'm sure that is a great idea but if you are on an uneven stage or part of your kit is on a mat and the stand is half on and half off then it's a little more tricky. It just doesn't seem super sturdy if that's the case.
This is a good product but beware of potential QC issues.

I bought two of these. The first one was awful and rattled so I took it back. I checked out another one and it was perfect. Just make sure you check out the stand before buying it. I saw another review with a similar issue so probably just a QC issue or a used return resold as new.
Excellent and not too heavy on the wallet!

New to owning a 2-leg stand, but I am loving it. It also has the tilt adjustment which is super cool to me.
Overpriced & Over-engineered

I bought this hi hat stand since I love my DW3000 bass drum pedal and thought it would be similar quality and design, but it's like this hi hat stand was designed by a completely different company. It's definitely on the light side of medium duty and has several head shaking design choices. I've had several hi hat stands over the years, but this one just doesn't make any sense. The footboard doesn't function well at all, the clutch is super cheap and the tension adjustment is weird. You could not tour reliably with this stand. I returned it and got the Yamaha that's the same price and I'm really glad I did. The Tama is probably a good choice too - definitely better than this one.

Will this come with a short and long rod as the dw 5000 hi hat stand does.
This is the longer of the types of rods they use in DW hi-hat stands.
