    I play with my bass drum offset (like a double bass setup, without the 2nd bass) and I've never been able to put my ride far enough over the bass drum without it tipping, even with a DW 9000. Once I put this on the stand it doesn't even come close to tipping. Thank you DW!

    I like the tight fit on the existing boom. Of course it'll be another heavy part to carry- but it's the counter weight I needed to locate my 24" cymbal right where I wanted it.
