DR strings are handmade (not machine-made) because their expert string makers are capable of making micro adjustments needed throughout the winding process for the best sound and feel possible.

    These Pure Blue DR's are great sounding strings on my American G&L. DR's are just great strings in general.

    Any bass player would prefer mid/to heavy gauge strings over light gauge 10 out of 10 times. Apparently there was a verbal "miscommunication" when I placed my order. In the future I guess I'll have to be more "assertive", the lesson learned perhaps is to speak more clearly and request my order read back to me.
