Description

DR NEON Strings are the second in DR's SuperStrings series. In natural light and stage light these strings sparkle brightly. Under ultraviolet black light, they appear to glow.

Made from nickel-plated steel, these super bright colors are designed to sound clear, bright and musical.

    Man, I saw these strings and yes, had mixed reviews etc... coated metal strings, won't ring out etc... Well yes! They are very thick very green strings and don't really ring out. IE... not at all sharp, not punchy, not a full sound. BUT, They are pretty yes. I built a guitar from TEMU and thought I would try them, but they are soo thick with coating and won't ring out, ordered some D Dario's.

    They look okay. They don't glow without light... was hoping they might. The texture is surprisingly fine to play with.

    These are excellent strings. I bought them for my son, who loves them. They stay in tune well. He likes their feel, they feel like the Elixir strings he used before. They seem to last well, he's had then on his Schecter about 3 weeks and they feel and look good and hold their tuning well. And did I mention they look really good under black light?
