Steve Dadaian Shreds with DDT Strings by DR Strings

DR Strings Company Video

Description
Now you can "stand and deliver" in-tune notes at lower pitches that are clean and clear-plus you can drop tune with confidence and accuracy. You'll be surprised how few adjustments you'll make to change tunings and will be even more surprised how well DR Drop-Down Tuning strings lock into tune.
Experienced players comment: "Tuned down, I was never able to play a favorite riff. It always came out muddy and garbled. Now it is crystal clear. I am going to record it and give it to my bandmates, who could not hear it before."
DR DDT strings deliver far more than just heavy gauges-they deliver impeccable tone.
Big-Heavy gauges: 10-13-17-36-52-60.

Great tone for metal style

I have used these strings for 3 or 4 years now they're really good I chose them because of the size and I found out that they are awesome. Not one ever broke on me as I did expect the 10 to from the speed and pressure I used sometimes. My particular style is metal, the strings work great for that. They are highly pliable. I am a bender and the tuning I think does not go out too much after the stresses I place on the strings. I have used deep standard E standard C standard a also be dropped down tuning no problem with any of the strings at all the sound is crisp and clear it's not a muddy sound and it's not a tinggi sound from the strings like a steel Acoustic sound.
Interested in great tone for your guitar, try these.

The first thing I noticed once I strung up my guitar the strings of Highly pliable when it comes to bending. They are loose that's great! The tone I will say it's good and it does sound well. I'm used to 11-56 and decided to go a little higher in the high string with a 10 and a little lower on the low with a 60. My opinion as from sound, not too much of a difference but they do Bend quite well. Use to use Kerly Music Wicked Wire 11-56. I think this are better quality than the Kerly Music Wicked Wire Tempered set.
A good gauge for the down-tuned lead guitarist

I bought a set of these along with the Dunlop Zakk Wylde set in the same gauge. These are far and away much better. I generally either play in C# standard tuning (C#, F#, B, E, G#, C#) or Drop B (B, F#, B, E, G#, C#) and these puppies are great, the top strings hold just enough tension to allow for fairly heavy alternate picking, but loose enough for very easy bending. the bottom strings are great for holding tension at even drop B and allow for some very heavy handed technique. I play a lot of Iced Earth style rhythm guitar licks and that 52 gauge A string is just awesome for that stuff.
best!!

Got these today and love them. Like it says on the box, they lock in fast and break in easly. They stay in tune well and good for drop A or b. not much for C, might be to tight for drop C. Get these, they are the best.

Great Drop B strings

I put a set of these on my ESP LTD EC-1000 (24.75 scale length) so that I could play around with drop B and not have the strings go all floppy on me. These turned out to be perfect! Strings feel tight and I have no string buzz! The highest I've tuned these is D Standard, I felt tuning any higher would make the strings snap, or worse... Even with D standard I could bend the strings with relative ease. I did have to drill the hole in tuning peg on the 6th string a little bit wider to fit the .60 though.
