    I normally use elixir Strings on my Taylor. Thought i would try these as they were cheaper. It makes the guitar sound dead and tinny. They actually make an expensive guitar sound like a cheap one. Maybe they sound good plugged in? Don't know. I didn't even bother with it.

    Recommended to me by my instructor. First time putting mediums on my Martin. Nice rich sound and any concerns about mediums being tough on my fingers have been put to rest. I have the same strings in light on my other guitar and so little difference that it's almost imperceptible from a feel perspective. I thought the mediums gave the guitar a little more volume. I plan on trying many other strings but I do like these.

  • I like to use these on spruce top guitars.
